Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (ANPR)
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) of SecuScan® decodes all kinds of vehicle plates with high speed and precision.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition – or as it is frequently called “license plate recognition” – is a special form of optical character recognition (OCR), which enables computer systems to read out automatically the registration number (license plate number) of vehicles from a digital pictures.
The technology can be integrated into the Under Vehicle Monitoring System. That means that number plate recognition and Under Vehicle Monitoring results are presented together on the ScanStation (workstation of the operator).
The ANPR-system can be deployed either as an integrated or standalone solution.
